ZEROBYZ at OG: More Than Just a Pop-Up

ZEROBYZ at OG: More Than Just a Pop-Up

The OG event was not simply another pop-up for ZEROBYZ. It was a two-day experience filled with excitement, music, creativity, community, and moments that will remain an important part of our journey.

Held on 4th and 5th May 2025, the event gave us an opportunity to present ZEROBYZ in a physical space, connect with a new audience, support the creative community, and witness one of our unreleased outfits come alive on stage.

The Beginning of Something Special

Our excitement began the moment we learned that Siyaahi loved ZEROBYZ articles and wanted us to become his official clothing partner for his concert on the first day of the OG event.

Along with the clothing partnership, we had also booked a pop-up stall at the venue. This meant that we would not only be dressing Siyaahi for the performance but also creating a complete physical experience for people to discover ZEROBYZ.

For us, this event was never planned purely from a sales perspective.

We wanted to create something different—something engaging, expressive, and memorable for everyone visiting the stall.

Preparing the ZEROBYZ Pop-Up

Our preparations started almost a week before the event.

We discussed several ideas for making the stall more interactive. After exploring different possibilities, there was one concept we immediately loved: a transparent acrylic sheet placed on a stand, accompanied by colourful pens, where visitors could write, draw, doodle, or express whatever crazy thought came to their minds.

The idea reflected the energy of ZEROBYZ—open, creative, unpredictable, and unrestricted.

After several calls and contacts, we finally sourced the acrylic sheet from Narol, Ahmedabad. We also visited Panchkuva to purchase a gray carpet for the stall.

Slowly, all the small elements started coming together.

On the day of the event, we left our studio with a fully loaded tempo and two cars carrying the garments, display elements, stall materials, and everything else required for the setup.

Day One: Siyaahi Live at the OG Event

After reaching the venue, we were assigned our space and immediately began setting up.

We were running slightly behind schedule, and the concert was already getting closer. Most of the audience had gathered near the stage while we were still arranging garments, installing the stall, and completing the final presentation.

It was chaotic, exciting, and slightly stressful—but that was also part of the experience.

By approximately 7:30 PM, the ZEROBYZ stall was finally ready.

Seeing our brand presented in that space, directly in front of the concert stage, created a completely different feeling. What had previously existed inside our studio, in our sketches, samples, shoots, and online visuals, was now standing in front of a live audience.

The Unreleased “Never Been Normal” Outfit

For the concert, Siyaahi was going to wear our unreleased “NEVER BEEN NORMAL” co-ord set from top to bottom.

The outfit had not yet been launched publicly. To make the event even more special, we decided to offer the unreleased drop exclusively for offline purchase at the pop-up stall for those two days.

At around 8:00 PM, Siyaahi entered the stage and opened his performance with the OG track “TAUR / TAREEKE.”

The audience immediately warmed up and began cheering.

Watching Siyaahi perform on stage while wearing the complete NEVER BEEN NORMAL outfit was an emotional moment for our entire team. Seeing a ZEROBYZ design move under the stage lights, surrounded by music and the energy of the crowd, made us realise how far the brand had travelled from the initial idea behind the garment.

Our hearts were full.

Soon after, the OG Dhanji joined the stage, and together Siyaahi and Dhanji completely transformed the atmosphere.

As the evening progressed, Acharya, Neil, Agorti Muzic, Ritual Gang, Snappy Kaal, and Monk Lama also joined the stage. The energy kept building, the audience became louder, and the entire concert turned into a powerful celebration of music and culture.

At the same time, our stall was positioned directly in front of the concert stage. We were able to interact with visitors while experiencing the performance from only a short distance away.

The first day ended with countless memories, new connections, unexpected experiences, and many important learnings for us as a growing brand.

Day Two: Chalo Malesiya Dance Battle

The second day had a completely different energy.

The event featured the “Chalo Malesiya” dance battle, where the winner would receive an opportunity to perform internationally in Malaysia and represent India.

We arrived earlier on the second day and had enough time to set up the stall before the main event began.

The atmosphere felt more relaxed but equally exciting. Everyone at the venue seemed to be enjoying their own vibe while DJ Dhaval performed on stage before the dance battles started.

Once the battles began, the energy shifted completely.

Dancers had travelled from different parts of India to compete, bringing their own styles, stories, movements, and personalities to the floor. For us, it was something new to witness in Ahmedabad.

The passion, discipline, and confidence of the participants made the event more than just a competition. It became a space where artists could express themselves, represent their communities, and push their creativity in front of a live audience.

Giving Back to the Community

ZEROBYZ has always wanted to contribute to the creative community rather than simply exist around it.

While watching the dance battles, we felt that this was an opportunity to do something meaningful.

We decided to gift unreleased ZEROBYZ articles to the winners of the different battles.

For us, these gifts were more than products. They were our way of appreciating the talent, hard work, courage, and individuality of every winner.

Supporting artists and creative communities is something we want to continue doing as ZEROBYZ grows.

The Final Celebration

At the end of the second day, the event concluded with a close-up DJ party.

Double Switch was performing close to our stall, and suddenly the entire area around us became part of the celebration. People were dancing, enjoying the music, gathering near the stall, and carrying the energy of the event until its final moments.

The vibe was completely different from the first day, but equally memorable.

The first day had been defined by the emotions of seeing Siyaahi perform in ZEROBYZ, while the second day was about dance, community, expression, and celebration.

Together, both days represented everything we value as a brand: creativity, individuality, collaboration, culture, and real human connection.

More Than a Pop-Up

The OG event was never only about displaying clothes or selling products.

It was about watching an unreleased ZEROBYZ outfit come alive on stage.

It was about meeting people who connected with our designs.

It was about giving visitors a space to write, draw, and express themselves freely.

It was about supporting dancers and artists.

It was about setting up while the crowd was already gathering, solving problems in real time, learning from the experience, and enjoying every unexpected moment along the way.

The two days ended with beautiful memories, valuable lessons, and a stronger belief in what we are building.

We are grateful to Siyaahi, the OG event organisers, every artist who performed, every dancer who participated, and every person who visited the ZEROBYZ stall.

This event became another meaningful chapter in our journey—and one we will always remember.

Thank you for being part of the ZEROBYZ story.
